What a whirlwind of a week we've experienced here in the MTC in Provo. Getting up at 6:00 a.m. and going until 10:30 p.m. at night. Time just flies by. We get up, study scriptures, get ready for the day, eat breakfast, do into training, eat lunch, more training, eat dinner, language training, exercise and hit the sack. It's not wonder that we feel we are gaining weight. The food here is delicious and plentiful. The treatment is wonderful and the atmosphere like nowhere else on earth. We have met some wonderful people and value our experience greatly. We feel the spirit so strongly and know why the young missionaries are so anxious to share it with others in the "field." We had a "P" day (preperation) yesterday and after doing some "housekeeping" chores drove to the Timponogus Temple. The only other time we've been in that temple is when Monte and Megan got married so it brought back many memories. We got caught in BYU Basketball traffic on the way back which surely slowed things down. We barely made it back in time for dinner. Today we had Sacrament Meeting, then MTC conference, a few hours break, dinner, departure meeting, and a fireside right after that. They do keep the young missionaries busy as well as the seniors. We love the atmosphere here and hope to take the Spirit with us when we leave next Saturday.
The second picture is of Elder and Sister Lance that are good friends of Strat's brother Murt from St. George showing their warm coats they'll be wearing in their mission. They are learning Russian. The other picture is a couple that is going to the same island of Pohnpei that we served on last mission. We've had fun sharing the things we learned and the people we learned to love on Pohnpei.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and the hope of all mankind.
Love, Strat and Nita
